| Bio: | Age: 15 Series: Full Metal Alchemist (Anime) Canon: Directly after the transmutation to bring Edward back to life Bio: Alchemy, a science that follows the natural law of Equivalent Exchange. It can turn lead into gold. However there are strict rules and the transmutation of a human body is strictly taboo. Alphonse, or Al is the younger of the two Elric brothers, and one night five years ago, he and brother Edward broke that taboo. They paid for it, Ed with his left leg and Al with his entire body. Ed sacrificed his right arm in order to bind Al's soul to a suit of armour nearby. After that night, Edward's lost limbs were replaced with automail and the two brothers began a journey to find a way to restore their bodies back to the way they once were. It was a long journey that lasted five years, and during that journey they met all sorts of people, from other alchemists to homunculi, artificially created humans. Five years saw Al's body transformed into the Philosopher's Stone, a stone used to boost ones alchemical ability and bypass the Law of Equivalent Exchange. The homunculi wanted the Stone, so they could become true humans. Alphonse was captured by them, and Edward came to save him. However, one of the homunculi, named Envy, disliked this plan. He decided to show this by doing the one thing Al thought never possible. He killed Ed. Al was the Philosopher's Stone, and as such was able to perform the impossible. He started a transmutation that would bring Ed back to this world, giving himself and the Stone in exchange. Edward was revived, and began his own transmutation to bring Al back. However, Alphonse had been transported as a human to the place with no name, with no way to get back until he was sent home. The residents know this place as the hotel. We call it Clockwork. Alphonse is very pure of heart and mind, wishing no hurt on others. This also makes him very naive. It can also make him seem immature, however he has his moments were he's far more mature than older brother Edward. He's also calmer than his brother, rarely losing his cool unlike the hot-headed Ed. Despite that, he knows Ed better than anyone, and hates being separated from him. Al also has a great fondness for cats. ((Think the character's OOC? Then tell me!
